Tuolumne County Supervisors Set For Second 2007 Meeting

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors is set for its second 2007 meeting today at the County Administration Center.

Principle items on the agenda: consideration of increasing the supervisors´ base salary by $2,650 per year, clarifying the ability to extend post retirement health benefits to elected officials, reappointing Richard Collier to the board´s Airport Committee and Bud Baker to the Fish and Game Preservation Fund, authorizing the introduction of legislation to address extending peace officer status to jail deputies when serving as baliffs for the Superior Court and consideration of recognizing unanticipated revenue in the amount of $14,300 for library use.

Appointments will be heard at 11am to enlarge two Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk indians agricultural preserves by a total of 1,010 acres.
