Freeze Warning Issued For Mother Lode

Sacramento, CA — A freeze warning is in effect for the Mother Lode from midnight Friday to 9 a.m., Saturday.
The National Weather Service says the foothills, among many other areas, have not yet had a hard freeze and should look for one tonight.
Additionally the Service says a freeze warning means that sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. Such conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
