Yosemite, Ca — One of the many areas that was hit hard by the winter storm that just passed through the region is Yosemite National Park.
Spokesperson Scott Gediman says the park received six to seven inches of snow in the higher elevations. Then, this morning around 10 o´clock, high winds made driving very difficult in the area.
Gediman says that things are looking much better this afternoon. He notes that there is certainly some snow and ice on the roads, but as long as people are equipped with chains and drive carefully, everything should be fine.
Gediman adds,There´s water in Yosemite Falls, and there´s crystal clear blue skies.” He says people should not hesitate about coming out.
