Winter Storm Watch Upgraded To Warning

Sacramento, Ca — The winter storm watch for the Sierra Nevada has now been upgraded to a warning.
According to the National Weather Service, it will be in effect from 4am to 10pm on Thursday.
A strong jet stream will accompany the storm with winds in excess of 60 mph possible over ridges and exposed locations.
15 to 20 inches of snow is possible with snow levels dipping to as low as 4,000 feet.
