Sonora, CA — Mallory Ann Lorraine Johnson and Gage Reilly Coverston are the first 2007 babies born in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties respectively.
Mallory Ann was born at 12:31am Tuesday, January 2 at Sonora Regional Medical Center to Amanda and Bryon Johnson of Soulsbyville. Mallory weighed exactly seven pounds and measured twenty and a quarter inches long.
The first Calaveras County 2007 baby was a male, Gage Reilly Coverston, who was born at 8:19am on January 2 at Sonora Regional Medical Center to Megan Coverston of Angels Camp. Gage tipped the scales at six pounds and nine ounces. He measured nineteen and a half inches long.
