Fire Destroys Jamestown Area Mobile Home

Jamestown, CA — Fire engulfed and completely destroyed a doublewide mobile home on Woods Way in Jamestown Tuesday evening.

The fire was reported at approximately eight o´clock. The structure was valued at $150,000 according to Tuolumne County Fire Marshall Kary Hubbard. Contents valued at $20,000 were also lost.

The fire crew was able to save two sheds and a boat adjacent to the doublewide.

Cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but the fire has been declared suspicious in nature. Should you have any information, please contact the C.D.F. Fire Investigation office at 532-0821.
