Twain Harte Woman Booked On Drug Charges

Sonora, Ca — A Twain Harte Woman who was pulled over for erratic driving faces a list of drug charges.
42 year old Valentia Ann Paz was pulled over on Highway 108 just west of Mono Way Sunday at 5:48pm. The officer determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance and placed under arrest.
During a search of the vehicle, a plastic bag was found containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Located in her purse were two pipes used for smoking controlled substances.
Paz was transported to Tuolumne County Jail. She faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, transporting a controlled substance, driving under the influence, being under the influence and driving on a suspended license.
