Stabbing In Arnold

Sponsored by:

Arnold, CA — Last Friday, two 19-year olds got into an altercation, which resulted in one of them being stabbed.

At around 3 p.m., on December 29, authorities arrived at the Ebbetts Pass Fire Station to find Tyler James Hartsell of Arnold stabbed through his left wrist and his upper back.

An investigation led to the arrest of Curtis Lloyd Blayney, also of Arnold.

It turns out, Hartsell is a witness in a case against Blayney for burglary charges.

Blayney was arrested on charges of attempted murder and dissuading a witness. He is being held in Calaveras County Jail on $500,000 bail.

Hartsell was flown to Doctors Hospital in Modesto where he was treated and released for his injuries.
