The KVML “Newsmaker of the Day” was Tuolumne County Sheriff Jim Mele.
Despite a tight budget purchased a few new cars.
Clerk positions have been back filled, dispatcher.
Patrol side of the house is full and they are not filling any positions.
Minimum staffing but there are enough Deputies to keep the public safe. Ultimately would like to have a few more deputies.
Community forums town hall meetings.
The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:46, 7:46 and 8:46am.
