Modesto Resident Suffers Moderate Injuries On Hwy 12

San Andreas, CA — 27 year old Joshua Benner of Modesto suffered head, elbow and knee injuries at six o´clock Monday evening when he lost control of his 1989 Ford on Hwy 12 west of Evans Rd.
Driving on wet pavement Benner´s vehicle swerved onto the right shoulder and then a dirt embankment. According to the CHP report Benner suffered the injuries when he struck the driver´s side door after running off the roadway.
Benner was wearing his seatbelt. Alcohol was not a contributing factor to the accident.
