Ice Causes Single Vehicle Mountain Ranch Rd. Accident
San Andreas, CA — Ice has been listed as the cause of a single vehicle accident Saturday morning at 8:50 on Mountain Ranch Rd.
53 year old Jenea Makagawa of San Francisco failed to negotiate a right to left curve west of Lower Michel. Her vehicle cut across the eastbound lane, traveled over the south embankment coming to rest approximately 25 feet off the south roadway edge in a field.
According to the CHP report Makagawa sustained pain in her left shin while her passenger, 23 year old Lisa Huynk also of San Francisco, suffered a possible broken left arm and right leg pain. Both were treated at a Modesto hospital.
The 2001 Volvo suffered moderate damage to the entire front end.
