Sheriff’s Office Issues Initial Tanning Salon Fire Report
Sonora, CA — According to Tuolumne County Sheriff´s deputy Paul Tualla the owner-operator of the Outlaw Tanning Salon on Humbug St. in Jamestown was beaten unconscious Thursday evening prior to her establishment being set on fire.
KVML News has learned the owner-operator is Kristi Armstrong.
Tualla adds the woman regained consciousness and was able to escape the burning building. She was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Tualla´s report states the victim was beaten by a man in his early 30´s standing between 5´ 8″ and 5´ 10″ tall. He had a slight build with a distinctive body odor.
It is not known at this time if the victim knew her attacker.
