Caltrans Alters Angels Camp Christmas Parade Route

Sponsored by:

Angels Camp, CA — Thanks to Caltrans there will be a new look to the 10am Angels Camp Christmas Parade this Saturday.

Due to the construction of the Angels Camp Bypass and the closure of the Rolleri Bypass the parade will start at the intersection of Hwy 49 and Murphys Grade Rd. after staging at Bret Harte High School and proceed south to St. Patrick´s Catholic Church avoiding the historic downtown area.

According to Colleen Collum of the Angels Camp Business Association there will still be plenty of activity in the downtown area with stores open from 10am until 8pm Saturday. There will be an abundance of wine tasting, beer and music from three bands.

Santa will make his first appearance at 11am and then move on to the historic downtown area. At the southern intersection of Hwy 4/49 there will be a Santa´s Express fundraiser during the entire day.
