Selesia Chooses Both Manual and Machine Recount

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — According to Tuolumne County Clerk and Auditor-Controller Debi Russell Randy Selesia has asked for a manual and a machine recount of the votes cast in the District One supervisorial race.

The November 24 certification showed Incumbent Liz Bass with a 198 vote margin-of-victory over Selesia.

Selesia can call a halt to the recount at any time he chooses. Should he ask for a recount of the 5,600 ballots cast in the 15 District One precincts through both a manual and a machine count, Russell estimates the recount would not be completed until Saturday.

The open-to-the-public recount started at eight o´clock this morning in the fourth floor conference room of the County Administration Building.
