Local Schools Defeated In Playoffs: Oakdale To Learn More Monday

Sonora, Ca — The high school football playoffs kicked off Friday night, and Central Catholic of Modesto defeated Summerville 26-8 and Escalon defeated Calaveras 35-31.
There is still uncertainty in Oakdale. Last night´s Sac-Joaquin Division four playoff match-up with Colfax was temporarily postponed due to a court order. A group of Placer High School supporters have filed suit regarding the eligibility of one of Colfax´s student athletes. A hearing is scheduled for Monday afternoon at 1:30 in the Alameda County Superior Courthouse.
