Arnold Resident Injured In Murphys Grade Road Accident

San Andreas, CA — 68 year old Susan Harris of Arnold possibly sustained two broken ankes in a single vehicle accident Thursday morning at approximately 10:40 on Murphys Grade Rd. west of upper French Gulch.
According to the CHP report Harris was eastbound when she apparently feel asleep at the wheel and drove off the south side of the roadway coming to rest in a grove of live Oaks 40 feet over the side.
Harris was lifeflighted to Doctors Hospital in Modesto. Harris´ 2006 Toyota Highlander sufferd major front end damage. No citation was issued.
