Officials Pleased With Health Fair Attendance

Sonora, Ca — The numbers are in regarding the 2008 Tuolumne County Adult Health Fair.
?Anyone who was in attendance probably came away amazed at the interest and need for access to services,? says County Health Officer Dr. Stolp. ?We had over 4,100 attendees, over 3,900 that underwent blood testing, and over 1,900 influenza vaccinations delivered.?
Stolp adds that next year the number of services will likely be expanded, noting that there is a waiting list of groups that would like to participate.
The 30th annual Health Fair was held Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.
