Loud Explosion Heard In East Sonora

Sonora, CA — A loud explosion was heard in the east Sonora area within the hour.
Apparently a number of residences are without power. At the same time P.G.& E. Spokesperson Nicole Tam in Stockton says the utility has received but a single call regarding the incident.
Tam does not have an exact location of the incident but stated that an assessment team has been dispatched to the general area.
