Mobility Plan Will Look At Improvements For San Andreas

San Andreas, Ca — The Calaveras Council of Governments and the San Andreas Merchants Association recently received an $80,000 grant from Caltrans to create a Mobility Plan for San Andreas.
?A big part will deal with pedestrians and their ability to get around,? says Transportation Planner Tyler Summersett of the CCOG. ?We´ll also be focusing on biking in the neighborhoods, transit use and ways that motorists travel through the community.?
The CCOG put up a $20,000 matching grant, giving organizers $100,000 to go towards the project.
