Sonora, CA — 36 year old Daniel Ernest Trujillo and 36 year old Starlyn Leanne Pitts of Turlock were arrested late Tuesday afternoon in Jamestown and booked into the County Jail on numerous narcotics charges.
Deputy Rod Hobbs made contact with the pair at 7th Ave. in Jamestown at 4:20. Pursuant to his investigation a small amount of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, smoking devices and syringes were located in the passenger compartment of their vehicle.
In the trunk Deputy Hobbs found items consistent with a meth lab. The Tuolumne Narcotics Team processed the items and identified several chemicals used in the manufacture of meth.
Samples of the chemicals were sent to the Department of Justice for analysis. A state of California hazardous materials contractor removed the remaining chemicals for destruction.
Bail for each individual was set at $75,000.
