New Business In the Motherlode Raises a Few Eyebrows

Sponsored by:

There is a new business in Tuolumne County that has raised a few eyebrows among the local residents. Jody Smith, the Manager of Rosalinda´s Gentlemens Club was Wednesday morning´s KVML Newsmaker.

Smith said, “Rosalinda´s is a classy bar and nightclub. We serve beer and wine and we have gorgeous young women who entertain the men. We don´t serve hard alcohol as the ladies do tend to get topless.”

When asked if it´s a strip club, Smith insisted that it is not. Smith said that the ladies adhere to strict rules and according to Smith, the atmosphere is more upscale than what one would associate with a strip club.

Smith said considering the conservative nature of the Motherlode residents, there has been little negative reaction towards one of Tuolumne County´s newest businesses. Smith said that even the Sheriff´s Dept is pleased with the new ownership, given the reputation of a former business at the same location.

Rosalinda´s is a female owned and operated business located at Hwy 108/120 and O´Byrnes Ferry Road in Tuolumne County. Business hours are Thursday through Sundays from 4pm – 2am. There is a $10 cover charge.

The Newsmaker of the Day can be heard each weekday morning at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47 on AM-1450 KVML.
