Man Critically Injured In West Point Accident

West Point, Ca — The CHP reports that a man who has not yet been identified suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Modesto following a vehicle collision on Hwy 26 near West Point during the noon hour Friday.
The victim failed to negotiate a curve, went off the roadway, and struck an embankment that caused his pickup to go airborne. The vehicle came to a rest nestled between two trees.
The accident was reported at 12:25pm. No further information has been released in regards to his injuries.
