San Andreas, Ca — A public hearing on a proposal to construct 30 town homes on the site of the Lake Tulloch Resort will be held before the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
The property owners would like to demolish the resort and replace it with the ?Villa Del Lago? town homes. On June 5th the Planning Commission voted down the project, but the developers have appealed the decision to the Supervisors. An initial hearing was held on June 22, and the Board decided to have it continued until August 12.
Also on Tuesday, the Board will vote whether to submit an application for funding to the Federal Homeland Security Grant Program. The County would be requesting up to $177,719 for domestic terrorism preparedness training and equipment.
