Rawhide Rd. To Remain Closed Until Late Afternoon As Investigation Continues

Jamestown, Ca — Rawhide Rd. has been closed since the early morning hours as law enforcement officials have been investigating the incident surrounding the shooting and arrest of 40-year-old Larry James DeRossette, Jr.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department says that Rawhide Rd. could be closed down until as late as 4:30 this afternoon.
DeRossette allegedly attempted to holdup the Tesoro service station at 3am this morning. When chased by deputies, he pulled out a handgun, and was shot. He is currently at Sonora Regional Medical Center.
