Community Meeting Scheduled For Telegraph Fire Residents
Mariposa, CA — A community meeting is scheduled for this evening at seven o´clock for residents affected by the Telegraph Fire southwest of Yosemite National Park.
The meeting is set for the Mariposa High School Auditorium. In attendance will be CAL Fire officials, the Mariposa County Fire Department, the Mariposa County Sheriff´s Office and the C.H.P.
Areas that are currently evacuated with roads closed to the public include Texas Hill Rd., Dogtown Rd. from Texas Hill Rd. to Schilling, Schilling to Hwy 49 North and Mykleoaks Rd. with road closure beginning at Hwy 49 North.
A pre-evacuation advisement has been issued for the north side of Hwy 49 from Hwy 140 to Hwy 49 North intersection and Hwy 140 North areas through the Midpines area continuing to the Briceburg area including Bear Valley proper.
Individuals who have special needs such as animals, medical or transportation are advised to contact the Mariposa County Sheriff´s Dispatch Center at (209) 966-3615.
