Pay Increase For Many Tuolumne County Officials
Sonora, Ca — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors has approved an increase in pay for many elected officials.
Effective March 30, the Assessor´s salary will go from $99,809 to $105,887, the Clerk/Auditor/Recorder´s from $100,779 to $110,550, the Treasurer/Tax Collector´s from $93,211 to $96,967, the District Attorney´s from $116,838 to $120,343 and the Sheriff´s from $107,682 to $110,682
In a separate action, the Board voted to raise the County Administrator´s salary from $124,992 to $128,789 effective June 22.
All of the pay increases were approved by a 4-1 vote. Supervisor Teri Murrison was the lone dissenting vote.
Not included in today´s actions was whether to approve a pay increase for the Board of Supervisors.
