Lights, Camera, Action On Jack London Film

Jamestown, Ca — A production company is currently in the Mother Lode shooting a trailer for a film entitled “The Golden City,” based on Jack London´s experience during the Klondike Gold Rush.

According to Tuolumne County Film Commissioner Jerry Day, Jeffrey Pohorski and his production company Skunkfilms shot the first scenes on Wednesday at Railtown 1897.

Shooting then moved to the Gold Prospecting Adventures site along Woods Creek, and ended in Columbia State Historic Park.

The production will continue in Columbia today, and then wrap up with two days of shooting in the high country.
