Sonora, Ca — The Tuolumne County Alliance for Resources and the Environment, better known as TuCare, will hold its yearly dinner Saturday night.
“The guest speaker will be Steve Brink who is the Vice President of the California Forestry Association,” says TuCare Executive Director Melinda Fleming. “He is going to talk about the State of California forests, touch on the Angora fire, and talk about the conditions we have currently in the Stanislaus National Forest.”
Fleming says the event traditionally draws around 300 guests. Social hour will begin at 4pm Saturday at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. The dinner will begin at 6:30pm. Later in the night there will be awards given to recognize efforts in the field of Natural Resource education. You can contact TuCare by calling 586-7816.
