Calaveras Board To Discuss Broadband Service
San Andreas, CA — In San Andreas today the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will be discussing and may take possible action regarding the ATCAA Central Sierra Connect´s application for grant funding from the California Emerging Technology Fund to facilitate the development of broadband service to all the rural communities in its region.
The Board may also approve a new contract between the county and the Service Employees´ International Union that would run through the end of this year.
And following the 90 minute lunch break the supervisors will conduct a closed session for discussion on interim policy guidelines for the general plan update.
The Board meeting gets underway at nine o´clock at the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Rd.
