Autopsy Conducted On Mobile Home Fire Victims

Sponsored by:

Jamestown, Ca — Results from a forensic autopsy conducted on the two women who were fatally injured in Tuesday´s mobile home fire on Chicken Ranch Rd. has the Sheriff´s Office to believe that the deaths were accidental.

“The results of the autopsy show no signs of trauma,” says Lt. Dan Bressler.

The Sheriff´s Office has yet to officially confirm the identities of the two women. They are reportedly 57-year-old Goldie Kerr and her 83-year-old mother, Nobie Partain.

The Sheriff´s Office says the fire was likely the result of a short in the electrical wiring that was running beneath the sofa. The fire could have possibly been smoldering for a long period of time without being detected.
