San Andreas, CA — Among other items the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will be discussing the Law and Justice Center project at the weekly meeting today.
At 9:30 there will be possible action regarding a resolution that would authorize an application for a local adult detention facility, i.e., a new jail with funding coming from the state via AB 900. Applications for this funding must be completed by March 18.
In a closed session instructions will be given to Brent Harrington or an alternate regarding the continuing negotiations with property owners, Ryan Voorhees and Greg Opinski respectively. They own the 57 acres of land the county desires to use for future expansion of the Law and Justice Center project.
