Child Attacked By Dog
Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Animal Control is reporting that a small boy was the target of an unprovoked dog attack at the Willow Springs Park Friday evening at approximately 7:30.
The boy suffered serious facial and mouth injuries. He also suffered injuries to his side.
The dog is described as white in color, weighing between 15-25 pounds with clipped fur with the exception of the head and face. The dog has small folded ears and a long tail.
The animal was accompanied by a male in his 20´s with short dark hair.
Only a positive check of the animal will avoid the child undergoing painful rabies shots.
