Columbia College’s Elizondo Named N.C.F.A.’s Director Of The Year

Columbia, CA — Columbia College´s Dr. Tim Elizondo has been named the Northern California Forensics Association´s (N.C.F.A.) Director of the Year.

This year Elizondo´s forensics team achieved numerous wins in competition against both two and four year colleges locally, regionally and nationally. Among them were the N.C.F.A. Conference Championships in Feburary in Concord and the California Community College Speech and Debate Championships in March also in Concord.

Elizondo has served as Columbia College´s forensics advisor and speech faculty member since 2005. He holds an A.A. degree from Modesto Junior College where he captured state championship honors in forensics in 1994.

Elizondo has a bachelor´s degree in Communications and a master´s degree in Rhetoric from Arizona State University. In addition he holds a doctorate´s degree in American Cultural Studies from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
