Injuries Reported Following School Bus Collision On Way To Yosemite

Yosemite, Ca — Minor to moderate injuries were reported after two school buses collided in a rear end collision this morning on their way to Yosemite Valley.
The buses were out of Yellow Middle School, in Newman California, according to Yosemite officials. The collision occurred at 10:55am, on Big Oak Flat Rd., one mile north of the El Portal Rd. intersection.
Around 40 children were on board each of the two buses. The children were transported by ground ambulance to John C. Fremont Hospital in Mariposa. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
