Officers Will Be Looking For Drunk Drivers Saturday Night

Sonora, Ca — A sobriety/drivers license checkpoint will be carried out this evening in Sonora by the Police Department, CHP and Sheriff´s Office.
The Police Department reports that all drivers that pass through the checkpoint will be checked to see if they are under the influence of alcohol or driving without a license. The checkpoint will be operated between 8pm-2am at a location that has not been announced.
The sobriety/drivers license checkpoint is funded by a grant from the State of California Office of Traffic Safety.
