Hwy 108/120 Fire Estimated At 50-75 Acres; Traffic Congested
Oakdale, Ca — According to CAL Fire Spokesperson Tillie Smythe the vegetation fire off Hwy 108/120 near Lover´s Leap is now estimated to be 50-75 acres in size.
At least one structure was consumed by the blaze, and crews are working to get the fire contained.
Continue to expect a considerable delay if traveling on Hwy 108/120. The CHP now says westbound vehicles are being directed to O´Byrnes Ferry Rd. to Hwy 4 and then over to the valley. There is no longer a detour set up along J-59 due to the fire.
