Multiple Arrests Made In Angels Camp Murders

Angels Camp, Ca — Four arrests have now been made in connection with last night´s murder of 46-year-old Pablo Lopez and his son 24-year-old Pablo Lopez Jr. at an apartment complex at 612 Stanislaus St. in Angels Camp.

Delfino Flores Cruz, who resides at the complex, was arrested last night and charged in connection to the homicide. Police Chief Dale Mendenhall says that during the investigation, officers discovered that there were four other subjects involved.

At 11am this morning, one of the outstanding suspects, Jose Francisco Sanchez Peralta of Murphys turned himself into authorities.

Shortly after, Bret Harte High School was put on lockdown as law enforcement conducted a warrant at nearby 433 Murphys Grade Rd. Officers arrested at 31-year-old Alfonso Flores Cruz of Murphys. Information obtained from Cruz led officers to his father, 55-year-old Juan Torres Flores of Murphys, who was hiding out in the Greenhorn Creek area of Angels Camp.

One suspect is still outstanding. 25-year-old Juan Diego Flores Cruz is 5´6”, 160 lbs, black eyes, black hair and wearing unknown clothing. Law enforcement has not said what led to the altercation resulting in the two deaths.
