La Grange Fire Reaches 1,200 Acres
San Andreas, CA — According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Jim DeVoll the LaGrange Fire has reached 1,200 acres in size.
The fire is listed at 30 percent contained with full containment expected later today in the south county.
In addition to CAL Fire resources, fire fighting units have come from the Cleveland and San Bernardino National Forests, Kern County, Los Angeles County, Ventura County, Oakdale Rural Fire Department, the Tuolumne County Fire Department and a numer of private resources.
All Columbia Air Base resources have been utilized in addition to two southern California air tankers and a private helicopter.
Cause of the fire which was first reported at 2:08pm has yet to be determined. Two structures burned Tuesday.
There have been no reported injuries or evacuations.
