Missing Hiker Found Alive In Yosemite

Yosemite, Ca — Missing Yosemite hiker Esmin Garmendia-Barrios has been found near Mt. Starr King, the same area where he was last seen Sunday afternoon.
“He is alive and responsive,” says Yosemite Spokesperson Kari Cobb. “At this point we do not yet know if there are any medical injuries.”
Cobb says the hiker was spotted by a helicopter at 2:15pm this afternoon. Nearly 200 searchers took part in the search effort, including some from Tuolumne County.
