Fireworks Ruled Cause Of Fire Near Jamestown

Jamestown, Ca — Illegal fireworks have been deemed the cause of a two acre vegetation fire that started shortly before 2am Thursday at 14196 Jacksonville Rd. in the Jamestown area.
No dollar estimate has been calculated and no arrests were made.
The cause of a Thursday afternoon seven acre vegetation fire off Hwy 108/120 near Knights Ferry Rd is still under investigation. The fire was first reported shortly before 2pm, and no structures were damaged.
