Teen Burglars Arrested In Jamestown

Sonora, CA — 18 year old Richard Anthony Rodriguez of 22466 S. Airport Rd. in Sonora was arrested and booked into the County Jail on $50,000 bail early Saturday morning following his involvement in a series of burglaries.

Also arrested was a 17 year old unidentified juvenile who resides in the 22000 block of Gunsight Rd. in Sonora.

According to Lt. Dan Bressler of the Sheriff´s Office, the two were involved in burglaries at Condor Earth Technologies, a residence in the 17400 block of High School Rd. and still another residence in the same neighborhood of Jamestown. The latter also had a vehicle broken into by the pair.

Deputy Paul Speers, with the assistance of a CHP officer, detained two male suspects at the C&C Mini-Mart. Footprints tied the two to the first burglary and stolen property to the other burglaries.

The juvenile was turned over to the County Probation Office.
