Tuolumne County Businesses Cited For Illegal Alcohol Sales
Sonora, CA — Five Tuolumne County businesses were cited for the illegal sale of alcohol to under aged individuals Friday evening.
From six o’clock until 11:30 Sheriff’s deputies along with investigators from California Alcohol Beverage Control (A.B.C.) checked on 58 businesses and bars. Juvenile decoys were used to attempt to purchase alcohol at each business.
Five citations were issued. That list includes the Sonora Market in Columbia (formerly the R&L Mini-Mart), Pine Tree Restaurant & Bar, Loggers in Tuolumne, Groveland Liquor and the Big Oak Lounge.
A.B.C. sweeps will continue in the coming months.
