P.G.& E. Update On East Sonora Area Outage
San Francisco, CA — Earlier today P.G.& E. reported that all 130 customers in the east Sonora area that had lost their power at 6:02 this morning had had their power restored, but that’s not quite the case.
Spokesperson Joe Molica comments that all 130 customers were restored shortly after 8am this morning but then eight customers dropped off line. Those customers are scheduled to have their power restored by 1pm today.
The initial outage was caused by a tree that fell onto a wire that dislodged a cross arm. The cross arm is a piece of equipment that keeps the wires up on the poles.
