Sonora Homeless Man Stabbed In Altercation

Sonora, CA — A 46 year old homeless man was stabbed in an altercation at the intersection of Hwy 108 and Stockton Rd. Sunday.

According to Sgt. A.J. Ford from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Mark Hoyopatubbi was stabbed in both legs by a white male with a medium build, reddish-brown shoulder length hair and a Fu Manchu mustache.

Hoyopatubbi was treated at Sonora Regional Medical Center and released. He is currently living in a homeless camp located off Stockton Rd.

Ford adds that detectives have a few potential suspects in mind and their pictures are now being shown to the victim and some individuals who witnessed the altercation.
