Sponsored by:

Angels Camp, CA — The Angels Camp Police Department is investigating the case of a stolen bronze frog statue from the 600 block of Live Oak Avenue.

Police Chief Dale Mendenhall says it is valued at around $500. The owner had been out of town since November 1st and when she returned to her private residence this week she noticed that it was gone.

Mendenhall says the responsible party went to great lengths to steal the statue as it was chained into place at the victim’s residence. Anyone with information should contact the Angels Camp PD at 209-736-2567.
