Sonora City Council To Address Lowe’s Project Again
Sonora, CA — The City Council will take another step forward to reaching fruition of the Lowe’s Home Improvement this evening.
According to City Administrator Greg Applegate, “We will be dealing with his land exchange between the Ray A. Sanguinetti Company and the city with respect to the realignment of Old Wards Ferry Rd. We’ll hold a public hearing on that.
This is the realignment of that project and what we’re going to be doing is dedicating a little bit less than an acre that is going to be set aside for open space and this was part and parcel to the agreement we had reached with the Tuolumne County Citizens For Responsible Growth.
We’re going to rezone this space. It’ll be a nice area within an urbanized are that we’ll have set aside.”
This evening’s meeting will start at five o’clock at City Hall.
