San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the second annual Economic Summit today at Calaveras High School.
The format will include speakers discussing key issues concerning the local economy as well as a presentation of the finding for the County’s Economic Element, an element of the General Plan.
According to Chamber Executive Director Diane Gray, "The breakout sessions in the areas of tourism, agriculture, retail, manufacturing, services along with construction and development will develop a strong action team with a list of action items that will be pursued and reported on at the third Economic Summit early next year."
The Summit runs from 8:30am to 5pm. Last year’s Summit was held at Bret Harte High School.
