Mother Lode High Schools Hope To Remain Undefeated
Sonora, CA — Mother Lode area high schools will try and make it two perfect weekends in row starting tonight.
Sonora hits the road to meet Modesto at Modesto J.C. The ‘Cats defeated Johansen 28-15 in their season opener at Dunlavy Field.

On the road for the second consecutive week, the Summerville Bears. They will travel to Ripon. The Bears opened their season with a resounding 42-21 win over Bradford Christian in Sacramento.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 on Today’s Country, 93.5 KKBN and this game will also be audio streamed live on myMotherLode.com.
Bret Harte will be hosting Central Valley this evening but that game will be played at Sonora High due to the continuing installment of the Field Turf in Altaville. The Bullfrogs opened play with a 14-10 win over Livingston.
Calaveras will be at home to meet Bear River tonight. The Redskins kicked off their year with a 38-14 defeat of Weston Ranch.
Oakdale, a lopsided 56-6 winner over Turlock, will host Novato tomorrow evening at 7:30.
