Tahoe City Man Arrested In Connection To Groveland Marijuana Cultivation

Sponsored by:

Tahoe City, CA — The Tuolumne Narcotics Team, with help from the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, arrested 36-year-old Michael Christopher Crean in connection to a recent Groveland marijuana bust.

The two agencies executed a search warrant at Crean’s home in the 2000 block of Chalet Rd. in Tahoe City.

T.N.T. Sgt. Craig Davis says Crean is linked to the marijuana cultivation in Groveland that led to the arrest of 38-year-old Barton Lewis. The Groveland home was raided by authorities on September 1st, and it was found that Lewis was growing marijuana on the property. His primary home in San Francisco was searched nearly two weeks later, and more marijuana was confiscated.

Agents found items in Crean’s home that were associated with items discovered at the marijuana cultivation site. Crean was transported to Placer County Jail for booking.

Sgt. Davis says no further arrests are anticipated at this time.
