Fire Strikes Nick’s Pit Stop

Sonora, CA — A small Tuesday evening fire struck Nick’s Pit Stop store at 578 Stockton Rd.
According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Jim DeVoll the 911 call was received at 9:40.
Response included engines from Sonora City Fire Department, Tuolumne County Fire Department, Columbia Fire and CAL Fire.
The fire was contained at 10:10 and the event was closed at 11pm.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation. No damage estimate has been issued.
